Urchins & Ink disguises a language-teaching game within a 2D action shooter. Absolute beginners and intermediate learners can understand and pronounce hiragana, katakana, and kanji at their own pace. No flashcards! No multiple-choice tests! Hiccup Interactive has worked hard to ensure that cute sea creatures and fun gameplay overshadow the intimidation of learning a new language.
