Kyivan Rus is a turn-based strategy game set in the ancient times of Kyivan Rus. As one of the pretenders for the throne of Kyiv, you can be smart and cunning, brave and honorable, or whatever tactics you want to pick to bring your country to grow and prosper.
During the historically-inspired campaign, you will be able to pick one of the Great Princes of Kyiv, with his unique traits and skills. Develop your character, make decisions and deal with consequences.
Pick Askold to found the Principality of Kyiv, Helgi to conquer Kyiv with Varangians, Olga to build the economy and strengthen the country, Svyatoslav the Brave to conquer and expand, Volodymyr the Great to baptize the country, or Yaroslav the Wise to bring the Kyivan Rus to its golden age.
Evolve as a leader, gather armies, research technologies, found cities, build the economy, unite the tribes and expand your lands to strengthen your country! Play in a single-player campaign or skirmish against AI.
