About this game
The Woods is a solo and online co-op survival-crafting game set on a mysterious stylized forest island. Start with nothing, gather enough food and water to last the night, build a shelter, and turn a fragile camp into a defensible base.
Build and defend your camp
Construct shelters, campfires, storage, fences, traps, and defensive structures as wildlife and hostile creatures threaten your base.
Survive by preparation
Hunt, fish, cook, collect water, craft weapons, and plan each journey before hunger, thirst, weather, or enemies catch you out.
Explore a dangerous island
Search forests, beaches, rivers, caves, and landmarks for resources, secrets, and a possible way off the island.
Craft tools, weapons, and materials
Turn raw resources into the gear you need to explore farther, fight back, and keep your camp alive.
Play solo or online co-op
Survive alone or team up with friends to divide building, hunting, gathering, crafting, and defense.
