Things have been hard for aspiring screenwriter Martina Alvarez. Ever since she’s moved to Los Angeles three years ago, she’s been pitching her screenplays all over town and has seemingly not progressed an inch. Working as a barista to make ends meet, she’s depressed and losing hope about making her dream come true. This is until her roommate comes home one day with a cunning plan to get her film greenlit.
