About this game
Part life sim, part adventure game, Cart Life is about three everyday people trying to make it as street vendors:
Andrus, a Ukrainian immigrant recently arrived in the US
Melanie, a divorced mother trying to maintain custody of her daughter
Vinny, a dreamer who never quite manages to make ends meet
Features
Guide three characters through the early days of their new ventures selling newspapers, coffee, and bagels. Play their intertwined stories in any order.
Acquire a cart, secure the necessary permits, and set up shop. Stock, maintain, and upgrade your cart to increase revenue.
Manage your budget for supplies, rent, and your own personal needs. Can you make enough money to survive?
Freely explore the city and get to know the locals. But don't be late to work, or your relationships with customers will suffer!
Note: Cart Life was first available on Steam in 2013. Although it won three Independent Game Festival awards and was named one of the best video games ever made by publications including Polygon and Slant Magazine, the game was never completely finished.
