The adventure of our two beloved investigators (which began in 'Dos vaqueros chapuceros') continues around Professor Bacterio's Telefrusky. This contraption transports Mort and Phil to the world of horror cinema, but they have the misfortune of it breaking down, risking being stuck in that alternative reality forever.
The only person who can help them is a quirky and enigmatic professor named Ibáñezstein, who makes a deal with them: he'll repair their machine only if the agents are willing to travel through the most famous horror movies and obtain the necessary elements to create his peculiar creature.
