DEATH LURKS
'Essence' from slain foes turns into a 'shard', which will revive you should your party fall. But die without any shards, and you lose everything.
Surviving to the end of a book will take all your wits and skill.
BUILD YOUR PARTY
Swash-buckle and parry with dual cutlasses, rocket jump with a mecha arm cannon, battle as a knight in explosive armour, or just throw big rocks at people.
Use 6 characters, 100+ unique weapons across 16 types, passive-granting armours, and items that all make meaningful differences to your playstyle.
Random loot means no two runs are the same, and equipping new loot gives you essence, so be ready to adapt!
