In Thief Simulator 2 VR, every part of the job is hands-on: peek through windows, kneel by door locks, and lift drawers with one hand while you pocket valuables with the other. Level up your skills, unlock advanced gear, and hit bigger scores.
Why VR?
Your hands do the crime — pick locks, crack safes, rummage drawers, cut power, and handle electronics with motion controllers. Tactile stealth — lean around corners and inspect windows like a real burglar.
Before you even touch a lock, you need a plan. Gather intel, study tenant routines, and map out your entry points. Preparation is the difference between a clean getaway and a prison sentence. Feel the tension of every move. Sneak through dark corridors, look for hidden compartments, and snatch everything of value. In VR, your physical speed and precision are your greatest assets.
No more abstraction or progress bars. Physically manipulate lockpicks, and crack high-security safes using your own hands. Modern security requires modern solutions. Deploy your drone to scout ahead, disable security cameras from a distance, and hack electronic gate passcodes to clear your path.
You start with nothing but an empty, ruined safehouse. Reinvest your hard-earned cash and stolen parts to rebuild your base. Construct specialized workbenches to unlock advanced crafting and new illegal skills.
Stealing the item is only half the battle. Bring your haul back to the hideout and use your upgraded workbenches to restore it to pristine condition. Personally wash, buff, polish, grind, oil, dust, and paint your loot to maximize its value on the black market before you flip it.
