Overview

About this game

TOKYO DRIVE is a racing game that uses the location information (*) of actual roads and buildings in Tokyo, Japan (Tokyo's 23 wards).

This game is about enjoying driving a car on an open-world map that reproduces (*) the location of real roads.

[Features]

Most of the roads in Tokyo (Tokyo's 23 wards) are reproduced.

Let's drive on the roads of the vast Tokyo Metropolis (Tokyo's 23 wards) (about 600 square kilometers).

Fast travel function is available.

Car purchase and transfer functions are available.

There is a collection element.

Day and night cycle (morning to night) is available.

You may become familiar with places and roads in Tokyo (23 wards of Tokyo).

Can be played on non-high spec PCs.

(Can be played with on-board graphics (integrated graphics)).

[Reproduction of roads and buildings] (*)

Bridges (including overpasses) are not reproduced.

The elevation (topography) where roads and buildings are located is not reproduced.

(All roads are flat.) (Since there are many cities and few mountainous areas, there are no plans to support this feature at this time.)

(The size of buildings is as close to the actual size as possible.)

The location, size, and names of roads and buildings are current as of the time of positioning and may differ from the latest information.

The appearance of roads, ground, and buildings are automatically set and may differ from the actual ones.

(Only the location and size of roads and buildings are reproduced.)

The names of the buildings are mainly public institutions information on the in-game map. (Schools, stations, police stations, fire stations, post offices, etc.)

(*)Information from MLIT Japan's Project PLATEAU is used.

[Remarks]

We are planning to add various functions and improvements in the future. Please check the Early Access information in the store for details.

Please also refer to the Community Hub's Q&A for current developments.

The author is not responsible for any disadvantages caused by the use of this game.

(For example, the author cannot be held responsible if the road information is out of date.

) Also, since the game contains a huge amount of road information, it requires several tens of gigabytes of space when installed, so please make sure you have enough free space to play.
