About this game
“OPERATIVES: revolve” is a cinematic roguelike deckbuilder with multiple unique gameplay mechanics. Play as Operatives, secret agents chosen to enforce the will of the Machine Doctrine. In this world, humanity didn’t invent technology; it was placed into our hands when the Doctrine descended in our most primitive age, propelling civilization forward and sowing the chaos that followed. Wield Machine cards to strike and block in physical combat, hunt down those who resist your directive, and uncover the hidden truths behind this machinated world.
Each card can be upgraded by installing unique Chassis and Wheel components. Each component boasts its own distinct design and effects. Utilize them to optimize your cards and experiment with different gameplay strategies.
Destructible Cards - Cards have a unique health system, indicated by their Wheel. They can be destroyed in combat, adding a unique strategic layer to how you manage your cards.
Toolkits and Assets - Powerful resources that further improve your component-card combos or create new gameplay strategies. These toolkits can be swapped out at any time to adjust your strategy.
Intense Visual and Combat - Featuring combat with visual that can reshape how each fight plays.
Chain Mechanics - Feature complex, multi-synergy to chain your strategies into powerful combos with intense visual feedback.
Evolving Challenge - Enemies come in varied forms and employ dynamic attack strategies. Enemy behaviors can be rolled and remixed each run.
Replayability - Each run is different. Select 2 out of 6 Operatives to battle against enemies with evolving behaviors, experiencing a myriad of interactions with the Operatives, world building, and story.
Multi-Directional - Card placement is key to your strategy, enemies will attack from different directions.
Combination Deck - Each Operative has their own set of unique cards, designed to synergize differently when paired with a different Operative.
Optimization - This game is optimized to run smoothly on older devices. We aim to launch with Steam Deck Verified support.
