About this game
Darkest Darkness is a roguelike deck-building game with extraction elements. Choose your identity and venture into a Lovecraftian town. Craft every card yourself—collect materials, build powerful cards, plan your route, or extract with your gathered materials to gain an edge in your next run.
Unique Custom Card Crafting
Each identity has different base attributes, and each gene effect provides a selection of card effects. Based on the card templates granted by your genes, combine chosen effects with templates to create a custom starting deck. As you progress, use effect perks collected during your run to arrange and combine different effects, crafting unique cards with powerful synergies.
Unique Tarot System
When defeating elite enemies, you choose a Tarot card for yourself and one for the enemy. Tarot cards apply special effects to their holders, and each Tarot card has different effects depending on whether it is upright or reversed. How you organize and pair Tarot cards between you and your opponent can be the key to victory or defeat.
Unique Extraction Mechanic
When the pressure of pushing forward mounts, finding an extraction point becomes the wiser choice. Use extraction points to bring collected resources out of the current run so you can continue to use them in your next game.
Explore Different Routes
Each district has its own unique district effects, and different routes determine what encounters lie ahead. Planning your path forward will be a true challenge.
