Echo Punk is a top-down looter shooter with real-time action, tactical abilities, and run-based progression. Designed for short, high-intensity play sessions, each run lasts about 10–20 minutes.

There are no saves. No safety nets. Every run ends in death. The question is... how far can you get?

Echo Unit Deployment Brief – Level 1 Clearance

Welcome, Operator. You’ve been selected to field-test the Echo Unit, a modular combat unit calibrated for rapid deployment, sustained aggression, and mass threat neutralization. 

This is a closed-loop combat simulation. There are no checkpoints. No saves. You will die often. Learn faster.

Mission Parameters:

Enemy Threat Profile: Engage & Eliminate

Face relentless waves of enemies — from scrap-sized swarms to heavy-class mechs.

Stay alert. No two threats behave the same. Some rush, some shield, some strike from a distance.

Stay mobile. Use cover. Control the space. Response protocol = violence. 

Specialized Tactical Abilities

Deploy advanced Echo tools to control the battlefield. Timing is everything. Cooldowns are unforgiving. 

  • Echo Dash — Blink through danger with brief invulnerability.

  • Echo Strike — Freeze time, mark targets, then eliminate them in a synchronized burst.

Adaptive Threat Resistance

Enemies are color-coded by resistance type — fire, corrosive, cooldown disruption, and more. Matching your weapon to the right target is key to survival.

Run-Based Structure: Test. Die. Adapt. 

Each session starts from zero. 

  • No saves.

  • No carry-over gear (mostly).

  • Just one shot to go further than last time.

Every run is a clean slate - but not all progress is lost. 

Over time, you may unlock new weapons or earn enhancements to improve future attempts.
