Overview
About this game
Four passengers. One train. A very bad deal.
In Dead Haul, you and up to three friends are trying to escape Brimstone by train. The problem is that the train is not free and the Conductor keeps raising the price.
At each stop, you break into old estates, crypts, mines and manor houses to steal whatever is worth carrying.
You have a short window before the train leaves. Go deeper and you might find better loot, stranger rooms and answers to what is really happening. Stay too long and you may not make it back.
Dead Haul is built around pressure, memory and risk.
Not everything is marked. Not every system explains itself. You learn by paying attention, trying things, surviving and telling the others what you found.
Key Features
Co-op raids
Play solo or with up to three friends. Split up, search faster, get greedy, panic and decide whether the extra loot is worth the walk back.
The train does not wait
Each stop gives you limited time. The deeper you go, the harder it is to return. You need to make the call before the train doors close.
Cursed places worth searching
Explore decaying estates, crypts, mines and old houses filled with hidden rooms, locked mechanisms, strange rituals, and routes that are easy to miss.
More to do than loot
Not everyone has to go deep inside. Players can ferry items, sort supplies, brew useful things, manage the haul and keep the expedition moving.
The Conductor
The Conductor is your guide, merchant and jailer. He keeps the train moving, but never for free.
