Story (Well, if you care about it.)
In a city governed by the ritualistic summoning of "The Ascent Valkyries," a female military force that also serves the royal palace, a secret remains hidden from the masses. These warriors are actually denizens of another world, bringing advanced technology and firearms into this realm.
Elara, a goat-kin orphan, grew up under the shadow of these Valkyries. While the palace claims they are guardians of peace, the truth is far darker. The citizens endure constant oppression and slavery, a regime that claimed the lives of Elara's parents in a horrific tragedy.
Though she was raised as a clumsy, incompetent maid, Elara was secretly mentored by a rebellious soldier who became a father figure to her. When their secret was discovered, he sacrificed himself to buy her time to escape. She fled into the unknown, carrying nothing but the weapon he left behind.
The beginning of Fallen Valkyries
Elara takes on dangerous quests to fund her ultimate goal, the formation of "The Fallen Valkyries" a resistance group dedicated to toppling the palace. However, her latest mission has taken an unexpected turn. The goblins she hunts are no longer the weak pests they once were. They have evolved, gaining immense strength and the ability to wield weapons. Trapped in a desperate struggle, Elara’s survival hangs in the balance. Will she make it out alive?
Q&A
Why is the content so limited? It was a skill-building solo project made with a very tight budget and limited time.
Why not Early Access? We intended for this to be a short, simple game. The current version contains the entire experience.
Will there be updates? Updates will be very rare and limited only to bug fixes.
If it’s a prologue, why isn't it free? We originally intended for it to be free demo with a full game to follow. Unfortunately, the project was cut short due to a lack of development funds, and we are unable to continue production.
