Overview

About this game

You have entered an isolated testing sector of the AEON DIRECTIVE, the final system that determines who may enter The Building, humanity’s last refuge. Nothing here is decorative. Every question you answer and every change you notice shapes your evaluation.

The evaluation consists of 50 binary questions. You may answer only YES or NO. On the screen in front of you, two constantly shifting values are displayed. The Compliance Score represents how well your decisions align with Directive standards. The Perception Score reflects your ability to notice environmental distortions and react to them correctly.

After each question, anomalies occur. The testing chamber may subtly or dramatically change. Chairs may slide across the floor. Boxes can vanish. Objects may appear where they were not before. Sometimes you will see something that looks like you standing in the wrong place, locked in a still and unnatural posture. These manifestations are known as Replicants.

If you detect an anomaly, you must stop answering and select RECALIBRATE. Failing to do so lowers your Perception Score. Incorrect or undesirable answers lower your Compliance Score. If either score reaches a dangerously low level, the system will remove you from the interview permanently. There is no recovery after removal.

The environment is presented in a retro styled black and white aesthetic reminiscent of early surveillance systems and abandoned office archives. Cold lights, silent rooms and minimal furnishing create an atmosphere where even stillness feels hostile.

As the test progresses, keycards grant access to additional rooms. Each new area increases both opportunity and risk. The deeper you move into the facility, the more unstable reality becomes.

This is a single continuous evaluation. Failure in either category ends the experience entirely

The game will expand over time with new endings, content updates and ongoing improvements. Player feedback helps determine the future direction of the project.
