Lying beneath the surface of this roguelite arcade shoot 'em up lies a haunting experience. Take the role of Artem, an advanced intelligence created by a naive researcher. Experience the combat simulations intended to mold his young mind, and watch as it twists him instead. Grow stronger and more aware with each run in the simulation, until both the facade and Artem's mind finally shatter.
Fight through 9 levels and gather bits as you destroy enemy combatants. You might start off feeble, but those bits will allow you to increase your firepower more and more.
Use that power to dive deeper into the simulation and survive until the end to face a challenging boss. Unlock moments of consciousness for Artem after the defeat of each boss and untangle the memories of his struggle as he comes to terms with the horrific truth of his creation.
Unlock new weapons and capabilities for your ship, giving you an advantage against the relentless hordes of ships that impede your progress. Each upgrade expands the tree, giving you more options with every purchase.
Upgrade aspects of your current weaponry. From firepower and projectile speed to special properties like piercing and bounce. Go from the slow, deliberate gameplay of older shoot 'em ups, to an overpowered machine of death with hundreds of bullets like modern bullet hells by the end.
Survive this onslaught till the very end and realize why you would cherish the blissful ignorance of non-existence.
