Overview
About this game
GUN X GUNNER is a fast-paced multiplayer FPS where up to 8 players battle to be the last one standing. Strengthen your Gunner each round by selecting new weapons, augments, equipment and more in chaotic free-for-all matches. Will you build the stronger Gunner? Or will you just outgun them? Grab some friends and find out!
GAMEPLAY
Players make 2 selections each round, offered randomly to each player between Augments, Weapons, Equipment, and STATS. All players are offered the same tier of choices, though increasing your LUCK may upgrade your offered tiers.
Following the Selection Phase, players will enter free-for-all combat with a single goal: outlast your opponents. If you run out of stocks, you're KO'ed and will take damage to your Match Health at the end of the round, which occurs when half of the current lobby is KO'ed.
This keeps gameplay fast and exciting for all players, since no one likes to be stuck waiting after getting KO'ed early. Though be careful - run out of Match Health and you'll be Eliminated from the game!
AUGMENTS
Augments are the BREAD X BUTTER of GUN X GUNNER and the most common of the Selection Types that you'll see. They can provide simple statistical benefits, game-breaking abilities, and just about everything in-between.
Select synergizing Augments and overpower the lobby or pick your favorites to better suit your play style. With the ability to mix and match up to 10 unique Augments, no two games will ever play the same.
WEAPONS, EQUIPMENT & STATS
There are two Weapon Types, each with notable differences between them:
Primary weapons
Powerful in at least one aspect (fire rate, accuracy, damage, or a special effect)
Limited ammo (resets on respawn)
Secondary weapons
Unlimited ammo, ensuring you’re never defenseless if your primary is out of ammo
Can be replaced via various Augments
Can be upgraded between rounds
Upgrades carry over to new secondary weapons even when replaced
Equipment
Very limited in quantity, equipment can be incredibly powerful when used correctly. From grenades and deployable gadgets to bandages and traps, equipment only refreshes at the start of the round - so make it count!

STATS
Over the course of each match, your Gunner will gradually gain STATS, which improve basic functionalities such as speed, how lucky you are, health, and more. Quite a number of Augment synergies exist for each STAT as well.
AGGRESSION IS INCENTIVIZED
You're encouraged to go on the offensive, as many Augments have kill requirements, conditional effects while fighting, or rewards for dealing damage. Additionally, gain Bits by scoring kills, which you can then spend within that Match to re-roll selections and purchase upgrades for your secondary weapon.
By v1.0, the Match Health Healing system will be implemented, healing your Match Health equal to the number of kills you scored that round. Might just be enough to decide a match!
