About this game
Rogue Drone is a top-down sci-fi strategy game combining mining, city-building, tower defense, and resource management. Build and expand your outpost, harvest crystal resources, refine them into higher tiers, unlock new tech, and prepare for nightly drone attacks. Every decision shapes your long-term chances against an increasingly deadly enemy attacks.
Core Gameplay
Mine crystals, upgrade your skills, buildings and weapons and choose your strategy to survive as long as possible.
Build by day, survive by night as enemy waves escalate in difficulty and variety.
Manage a unified energy system powering buildings, defenses, shields, and production.
Base Building & Economy
Six turret types - from long to short range, higher damage against shields or hull, multiple upgrades.
Refinery system upgrades unlock conversion for higher-tier crystals up to T5.
Daytime gathering lets you mine T1 crystals as a low-pressure activity before the nightly assaults in a skill based color matching mining.
Enemy Factions & Difficulty
Five enemy tiers, each introducing a new problem that has to be solved.
Tier 5 Core killers: beware of them - lower tier enemies might fall under their control and follow their lead.
Progression & Strategy
Use mined resources to unlock new buildings, turrets, and upgrades.
Choose a combination of defenses and experiment with turret placement and priorities to find the best setup.
Day 5 choices can be crucial to survive day 20.
