Overview
About this game
Hayfield is a cozy farming sim where your farm keeps running while you're offline. While you're away, crops keep growing, animals keep producing, and customers keep buying from your shop. Come back to harvest what's piled up, then dive into breeding, building, trading, and visiting other players. Play solo, drop into a stranger's farm for inspiration, or run a farm together with friends.

A farm that runs without you
Step away for a few hours and your farm keeps working. Crops grow, animals produce, your shop serves customers around the clock. Log back in to a full day's progress waiting for you.
Run a real shop
Stock your stands, set your prices, open for business. NPC customers arrive with shifting daily demands. Price things right and you sell out fast. Fill orders from the demand board for bonus rewards. Your shop also stays open to other players browsing the online market, or you can trade face-to-face with anyone who drops by your farm.
Co-op or solo, your call
Run your farm by yourself, invite friends to join you on the same farm in real-time co-op, or visit any player's farm asynchronously. Browse their shop, trade animals and goods, leave a reaction so they know you stopped by. Your farm is always reachable, even when you're not online.
Breed animals with real genetics
Chickens, cows, sheep, rabbits, ducks, pigs, horses, and more. Two well-fed adults in the same corral can produce offspring that inherit traits from both parents: size, fertility, fortune, and rare badges that boost their stats. Build a line of standout animals over time.
Grow, process, sell
Water at the right moment and use fertilizer for a shot at a perfect harvest. Crops have mastery tracks, the more you grow one the faster and more productive it becomes. Mill wheat into flour, cook meals, press oil, compost manure into fertilizer. Fruit trees produce on their own once mature. Unlock new recipes as you level up.
Build the farm you want
Start with a small patch and unlock new land as you level up. Shape the terrain, dig ponds, lay paths, and place plots, corrals, machines, trees, fences, and decorations. Build houses room by room with walls, floors, roofs, doors, and windows. Daily and weekly quests, a main quest line, and seasonal events with limited-time crops and cosmetics.
