About this game
Anomalogenos is a fishing shooter game where you reel in your line to shoot and dodge enemy bullets!
With active skills you can use during battle and passive skills that are always active, you can create a wide variety of builds!
As your gear gets stronger, you can venture into deeper layers to seek out tougher fish and better rewards!!
・Story
The protagonist surfaces from somewhere in the deep sea.
To return home, they borrow a ship from “Dokusha,” a beast-like figure they meet there.
Each layer along the way is a dangerous world infested with various strange fish.
Borrowing Dokusha’s expertise, the protagonist learns how to face these strange fish and sets out for their home on the ocean floor.
・General Game Flow
1: Dive into the Deep Sea
You can dive into the first layer of the deep sea from anywhere in the ocean where you can see the starry sky and begin your adventure.
2: Find Fish and Start Battles
You can start a battle by casting a fishing hook at fish swimming on the map or by having your ship collide with a fish’s body.
3: Winning battles occasionally grants passive skills
Passive skills can be activated by equipping them in skill slots.
This allows you to gain abilities that are constantly active during battle.
4: Once you’ve grown strong enough, challenge deeper layers and face bosses
You can advance to deeper layers by touching the whirlpools on the map.
Bosses appear at specific depths.
While you can avoid battles with regular enemies, boss battles are unavoidable.
5: Catch a boss to acquire an active skill
If you catch a boss, you can acquire an active skill.
Active skills are powerful abilities that can be activated at any time during battle.
You can also create even more powerful effects by combining multiple active skills or pairing them with passive skills.
+ Once You’ve Gotten Stronger, Head Deeper
Once you’ve acquired passive and active skills and grown stronger, head deeper into the dungeon.
In the deeper levels, even more powerful fish await.
・Basic Controls
Use WASD to move.
Press the E key to perform actions such as coming ashore or entering the SHOP.
Press the SPACE key to zoom in or out on the exploration screen.
・How to Play During Battle
1: Dodging Projectiles
Movement using WASD remains the same as in the basic controls.
Avoid the projectiles fired by the fish.
2: Firing Projectiles
During battle, a handle for spinning the reel will appear.
Hold down the mouse button on this handle and move the cursor to spin it.
Spinning the handle fires a projectile. Hit the fish to reduce its HP.
3: What Happens When You Take Damage?
When you take damage, the maximum value of the circular gauge around your ship decreases.
This gauge increases the farther your ship is from the fish and decreases the closer you get.
While this gauge is at its maximum, your HP will gradually decrease.
If your HP reaches 0, you lose the battle.
4: Using Active Skills
You can activate active skills by pressing the number keys 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Activating active skills consumes Mana, and there is a cooldown period between uses.
・About Skills
Passive Skills: (Over 100 types)
These are skills that are always active during battle.
You can activate them by equipping them in the passive skill slots on your fishing rod.
The number of slots varies by fishing rod, so better rods allow you to equip more passive skills.
Active Skills: (Over 100 types)
These are skills you can bring into battle, up to a maximum of four.
You can activate them at any time during battle.
Each skill consumes a set amount of Mana to activate.
After activation, there is a cooldown period before you can use it again.
