My Beautiful Faraway, Please Don't Be Cruel To Me is a short, unhurried adventure focused on exploration, implicit storytelling, and obscure puzzles.
NARRATIVE
A dreamlike, half-remembered nowhere. This place offers no explanation of itself, nor of why anyone ends up here. Only the unbearable desolation hints at the tragedy that brought it into being.
The strange figures who inhabit this place each keep their secrets. Each is lost in their own way. Each carries something painfully familiar.
GAMEPLAY
Quietly wander, solve opaque puzzles, meet strange figures with their own stories to tell, and uncover hidden details.
The only guidance on where to go and what to do comes from conversations and brief written clues.
Puzzles are intentionally abstract. Their rules are rarely intuitive and may only become clear through patience... if at all.
