Overview

About this game

Tennis Elbow 4 is the successor to Tennis Elbow 2013, acclaimed by many Steam reviewers as one of the most realistic tennis simulations ever made.

TE4 pushes the realism of tennis rallies even further with fully reworked ball, strike and player physics. The game is built around anticipation, positioning, player inertia, shot selection and risk management, while still letting you start playing quickly with the right assists and difficulty settings.

Created by and for tennis fans, Tennis Elbow 4 is a deep tennis simulation that can be enjoyed at many levels. You can play casually with helpers such as Auto-Positioning, Footwork Boost and Aiming Preview, or progressively turn them down to experience a more demanding and precise game.

Like real tennis, TE4 rewards players who learn to read the ball, prepare early, position themselves properly and choose the right shot under pressure. The basics can click quickly, but mastering the rallies, timing and movement gives the game its long-term depth.

To beat your opponent, you can use all the main shots available on a real court: safe strikes, accelerations, topspin shots, slices, drop shots, lobs, volleys and smashes. Cross-court rallies, changes of rhythm, defensive play and risky winners all emerge naturally from the physics and the tactical situation.

With many difficulty levels and sublevels, Tennis Elbow 4 lets you tune the challenge very precisely. Lower levels and assists are ideal to learn the controls and enjoy the career at your own rhythm, while higher levels bring the pace, pressure and consistency closer to professional tennis.

Tennis Elbow 4 features one of the most complete World Tours ever made in a tennis game. With over 3500 players evolving across several decades and more than 400 tournaments each year, from low-rank Junior events to top-level Pro finals, in both singles and doubles, you can experience the long-term progression of a real tennis career.

The Tennis Elbow engine is also very open to modding, with many Mods directly downloadable from within the game. Mods can add or improve players, outfits, courts, sounds and many other elements, letting the community push the game even further.

Tennis Elbow 4 is made for players who want deep rallies, realistic ball physics, meaningful positioning and a true learning curve.

  • Online play uses peer-to-peer (P2P) connections with no relay server. This means that if you're behind CGNAT, or if you cannot forward a UDP port or use UPnP on your Internet router, you won’t be able to host a match. You should still be able to join a host, though.
